Day 151, June 30

Woahh end of June already?!?! that's insane. Today was interesting, to say the least. Had a bleh morning, but eventually got the strength to get up and take a shower. That shower definitely boosted my day, I felt refreshed and ready to work. Shortly after, something happened between JJ and Jenny (no surprise there) so I had to take care of him and calm him down. Then I yelled at Jenny and told her we were going to start cleaning her room. We cleaned...like one small section..and the amount of garbage filled a garbage bag...well not all the way full but to the point where if you put any more it'd be too heavy. But she felt accomplished for cleaning that small area. Right when we were putting the final things away *BOOM!* Lightning struck literally 10ft away from us. Jenny kinda just stared, but I immediate told her to get out of the room as I peeked outside for fire or a fallen tree. Everything seemed okay so I called my mom, who was on her way home, to let her know and then called FPL. Their automated thing is funny, but informative. We went to Double Dragon for dindin to help pass the time. FPLs automated thing was like "we have found that the cause for you loss of power to be lightning damaging FPL equipment and there are currently...1 customers with this problem" and i'm like oh yay, we're the only ones. Then they called again saying it was 2. lol. After DD I went to the Civic Center to meet up with V and Eilene. Played a game of pool, Jenny and I won ^^ then worked out in the gym for a good hour. On the way home, I found out my daddy talked with the FPL people after they fixed our electricity, they were just hanging out outside. They checked out where the lightning struck and said that if it weren't for that sewer thing, the lightning could've traveled to our house and pretty much leading straight to my room and destroying everything that was on. We're very lucky that we're safe. And now to continue talking to Joe and Jen. =]
