Day 21, February 20

Today was definitely an unexpected one. There's much to say, and I'm really tired. Well, here we go! I got woken up at 8:30 by grandpa saying we were going to WPB to see Dr. Go and my grandma said we'd be back at 11. So I brought my camera and laptop and The Visit to help pass the time in the car and at the doctor's office. I literally spent the day playing solitaire until 3ish? Anyways, my grandparents had to get blood work done when we got to WPB and I sat in the doctor's office waiting for them. Then we went next door to see Dr. Go's wife, who is also Dr. Go, but she's a pediatrician. But yea, I got a checkup...and then she asks if I've ever had blood work done. I said no, and she asks if I want it done. Of course, my reply is no because I don't like the thought of having a needle poked in my skin, even though I know it doesn't hurt. Well, the doctor and my grandma both insisted that I did...so I did. -.- Also throughout the checkup, I was being preached to about God and all that stuffs, and I was just like =\, I know..I know. (Oh, did I mention my grandparents are friends of Dr. Go? I don't know if that's even relevant)Anyways, by this time I realize that when my grandma said 11...she meant pm and not am...I was really -.- . Also, somewhere that morning I went to Dunkin Donuts where...I got some really sweet tea =] After the check up we went to my grandparent's friend's house until it was time for mass. Apparently, there was a surprise birthday party for Dr. Go. (the wife) So after the mini mass, we went to the party...where...everyone was speaking tagalog...which sucked because I could only pick up bits and pieces and I was just sitting there the whole time. And I knew from time to time they were talking about me but I couldn't understand them much. And, of course, there was a lot of...OMG ur so big now!!!
And now for a few random things that occurred/that I realized.
1. My grandma and her friends are quite funny. They say some pretty unexpected things (out of the things I did understand...when I heard them say it was I was like o.O?!) Things...which I think would be best if I didn't share for the world to see haha. (not like the world reads this anyways.)
2. WPB is so different from how I remember it to be. Maybe it's just because I lived in PSL for 5 years and I have a different perspective on things. But it's just like woah! Everything is just everywhere, unlike PSL where everything is pretty much off of US1.
3. The Filipino Consulate of South Florida was there? I don't even know what to say about that one.
4. I broke up with Phil yesterday. Don't ask me to explain exactly why. Part of it is that it just sort of happened. I seem pretty fine with it on the outside/when I talked with him today. But, I'm definitely in need for a little cheering up. Which I was planning on doing today....and then homework over the weekend. But it looks like it'll just be homework this weekend.

Erm, I don't know what else to say. This is already a really long post, with useless information about my day. I suppose it's time for me to go to sleep. I'll post the picture for today later because it's already late and I'm rambling and I need sleep.
